Re: Mini Disc Recording - What Microphone?

Steven
I have been using an Aiwa Stereo- clips on the tie or suit / jacket lapel that
works extremely well. I find the I have to take the 'extra sensitive' setting
off on my Mini Disc.
Sitting about a quarter of the way back in the centre of the auditorium, that is
on an aisle seat gave me a full spectrum of the band.
I certainly have enjoyed my recordings and of course keep it only for my own
use. Not duplicating at all.
I understand that some venues do not permit any recording devices at all, and
some bands may not either. I certainly would not 'break' the request to record
if not permitted.
One other thing there are no markings other than Aiwa Stereo on the microphone.
It came with my older Aiwa portable (walkman type) cassette player. Both
machines use the mini plug connection.
