Re: Musical In-jokes - the punch line

Help puhleeeze

On the 19th of January I wrote:

When I type quotation marks (the symbol above the 2 key) they come
out in some e-mails as +ACI-

Why does this happen, and how can I rectify it - it's becoming a bit
of a pain. I know this list discussed recently the British Pound sign
coming out as something different. Is it the same sort of problem.

BTW, the word omitted from the last line of my posting (the bit about
the Morse code) is an eight letter word beginning with the letters
BOL and ending with the letters LOCKS

+ACI-Bo+ACoAKgAq-cks+ACI- is what came out when I inserted a couple
of stars.
