Leaky Valves!

Our Baritone section is in turmoil!
Two players, one with a Boosey & H has water leaking from his #2 valve
and the other guy had a Conn which leaks from all valves.
The water comes out of the bottom valve caps.
I believe it's because of worn valves.
If I'm all wet please be gentle but I read somewhere valves need
re-plated and re-seated occasionally.
What is the wisdom of the masses?
