To Peter who asked "How many are in it for their own benefit?" I think that
each of us has his or her own agenda  and that yours is compatible with your
band which means you are very lucky or you are on the decision making
committee.

To  all list members.  A lot has been said about members loyalty. Does this
mean that the individual band should have reciprocal loyalty to it's
members? Does this mean that if one is a principal player one is not asked
to move even if there is a better player available? This would become on
very stagnant organization. The moves within a band and between the bands
surely are like the oxygen in a pond, providing an environment for life,
growth, variety. This movement also creates competition for not only does
the individual have to measure up, the bands have to also.
 What are your thoughts from Kaye.
