What a FABULOUS concert!!!
Three of us from the Saint Louis Brass Band drove overnight last Sunday to
Toronto, 850 miles, to hear Black Dyke.
The hall was packed and the audience enthralled by the magnificent music the
band made. The program was terrific; Queensberry March, Downland Suite,
Journey Into Freedom, Year of The Dragon, Fanfare Der Stadt Wien, Capriccio
Espagnol, Russalka's Song To The Moon, Polovstian Dances, Andantino & Finale
from Tchaik 4, Skyliner, I Can't Get Started, 2 O'Clock Jump, Elsa's
Procession To The Minster, AND THEN the encores. Folk Festival, Cartoon
Music and Lausanne Song.
3 hours of fabulous playing.
Thank you James Watson and ALL the players of Black Dyke Band for bringing a
us an inspirational concert.
