Okay I'm happy now (!) - fourth place at Milton Keynes (which is what we
deserved) and a brilliant day out!  Isn't contesting great?

Thanks to everybody that replied (both on and off list).  It seems that we
could do a lot to improve contesting (though how many improvements are
actually more problems is hard to say).

Here's an idea - how about an audience adjudication system, where all
members of the audience can award points to a performance.  The overall
audience mark could then be weighted along with a professional adjudicators
mark to give the overall score (and position).  It wouldn't take much time
to organise either since all the audience marks can be processed while the
section is running -leaving only the normal adjudicators marks to be added.

Like I say - just an idea.
