Re: Gig Bags

The Altari bag although it holds a lot of stuff is huge and will
certainly not fit into an airplane overhead compartment. Pro Tec
Contoured Pro Pacs offer a good amount of protection and a rather
generous outside pocket but again are to bulky to fit into an airplane.
It seems that you can't have it both ways. i.e. lots of room and also
fitting into the airplane over head. The case which I use although very
compact offers the most protection in that it has a thin fiberglass
shell surrounding the instrument. I have also used the Reunion Blues
bags both the regular and the g series and have received damage in both
these bag. The Wolfpak definitely offers the best protection. You can
get them through the Woodwind-Brasswind in South Bend Indiana. Check out
