Hi Dave,
I was quite dismayed when I bought my Besson sovereign tenor horn that it
didn't come with a lyre, I thought all instruments would come with one.
Anyway so I made do for a while with an old one, until at one of the
Nationals over here I priced the silver plated ones .... had a heart
attack!!!

But there was one stall at the Nationals that sold ones to fit my tenor horn
$7!!! (bargain at half the price). It is metal, but has a black coating
over the top. People look at it and think it might be plastic until they
feel it. I'm not sure of the brand name, or even what stall I got it at.
Chris Earl might be able to help seeings he has stalls at the Nationals, he
might know who else has one. I'll make some enquiries and get back to you.

Carol
