Some Prosthodontists will recommend chewing of gum such as "Freedent" to aid in the saliva production from glands that may be blocked or a dry mouth from nerves. Perhaps this was a performance enhancing tactic employed by that band to overcome the effect of nerves. Mike Argentino Brisbane Australia --
