Too right. Couldn't agree more Alec. Walking around all day with a teacher's
head on as I do, I can say that I hate this chewing thing too. Our 'non banding'
person is right to say that this is a distraction. Of course it is - we are in
the entertainment industry. Punters don't just want to listen, they want to be
entertained. Watching somebody's mouth go round and round on stage is not a very
appealing sight.

PS - beats me completely how anybody can play with gum in their mouth anyway.
