Hi Jacque!

Sorry you never got a reply before...

I myself started playing at the age of 12. Most of the fellow students at
the Rotterdam Conservatory started at the age of 8. And I know that my
former teacher had a student that was only four years old.

I guess it isn't that important at what age you start playing. What makes
the difference I guess is whether you enjoy yourself or not!
