I heard all but the last 3 bands at the Yorkshire area, and had almost
exactly the same placings as Sparke (for what it's worth!).
YBS were the only band that really made any major impact for me, but others
were technically polished but quite uninteresting, or vice versa!
I hope that the standard at Blackpool this weekend will be slightly better
at the bottom of the top section (speaking as a player in the bottom of the
top section!)
