Thank you all for the overwhelming response I had to my "name that trio"
competition.

When I thought up the idea I was doubtful that I would receive any entries,
how wrong I was! I received entries from 14 people, most offering more
than one title. And excellent suggestions they were too, giving me much food
for
thought.

Thank you for the kind words that many of you had for the piece itself. I
can
now get on with proof reading the parts, the music should be ready by the
end
of March.

In the end I chose a title "Trombones on the Town". It is based on a
suggestion made by Mike, Captainwelch@xxxxxxxxxx, who wins a complementary
set.

Well done all, and many thanks again for some interesting comments both on
the title and the music itself.
