	Hi little jem here


	There is a brass band radio programme on BBC GMR that manages
	to squeeze out ,wait for it , ONE HOUR A WEEK on sunday nights
and it gets cancelled if the football or rugby is on!!!!!!
(BBC GMR is 95.1 FM and is usually on at 6PM)
	Whilst brass bands in schools are being mentioned the ssituation in
my school is the same they are treated as the second lowest of the low with
the first being tenor horn players.being one myself i am often referred to
as "not a proper horn player" and even at an interview at Bangor university
the interviewer said "if you played a proper horn of course you could be in
the orchestra and the concert band"

      When are people going to realise that members of brass bands are just
as passionate about playing music and performing in front of an audience as
orchestra members are and we are not all just  intrested in beer
