How true is this.... I was turned down for a college orchestra for
playing cornet...they were desperate for brass, and just shot me down on
the grounds of my instrument...Subsequently the project was sped,
and reverted to a chamber orchestra...

    When are people going to realise that members of brass bands are
just
as passionate about playing music and performing in front of an audience
as
orchestra members are and we are not all just  intrested in beer

At last....other people of this mentality!!!!!! :)
