Yes, I do have a comment on the result.  Having played for the band that
came 3rd (city of Oxford) I can safely say that the result was a complete
farce.  It was blatantly obvious to anybody that played in my band that we
should have qualified, both aveley and first city were  in my opinion
(even though I didn't hear them) and a fairer result would have been to
disqualify any band with "oxford" not in their name.  (To make up for
1998!).........Only joking, I think this was one of the best areas for L&SC
for a few years and congrats to aveley and first city.  It's nice to have
had an area that wasn't surrounded in controversy for once.  Well done.
