I was replying to the email from the chappy from Oxford. (ie) is email
below.
 Yes, I do have a comment on the result.  Having played for the band that
came 3rd (city of Oxford) I can safely say that the result was a complete
farce.  It was blatantly obvious to anybody that played in my band that we
should have qualified, both aveley and first city were  in my opinion
(even though I didn't hear them)

My Reply:
In my opinion the first three placing were  and I played with the band
that was placed 4th.
the winner was the test piece. the standard of playing was poor!!!!!
The Winner was the test piece!!!!
 The first 4 placing who played the piece was average.
The rest may of stayed at home.
If the south are going to compete against the rest of the country then the
standard is got to improve. at the moment we are just playing at it.

You must of read the email message upside down or got your Toooooys cans
mixed up I think Dandenong band could off lifted a prizes in the south :-)
