I now feel six feet tall reading all the lovely comments about tenor horns.
What a wonderful idea of Graham's to use tenor horns in orchestras. I'll be
the first to volunteer. Mike Lyons commented on  the sounds created by using
different mouth  pieces. The tenor horn sounds quite different when using a
Schilke( it is more cup like) as opposed to playing with a Denis Wick 2(
funnel shape).
I must admit I do enjoy the sound of the French horn (which I can't play)
but I wouldn't be without my tenor.
