I've heard Jud play and she definitely knows what to do with a flugel horn.
However I was shocked by the uncharitable remark about trombones. Trombone
players are of course the only musicians, as opposed to mechanics, in the band.
Jud's opinion was probably formed when she was forced to tour with Tim Morgan
and Richard Batten.

No buttons means no help so it has to come from the mind and artistic skills of
the performer.
