Hi! all,
Is there anyone out there who played in the first and only brass band (never
been heard of since) end of course concert at the school playing Gilbert
Vinter's Variations on a Ninth. Dave Little conducted us. It was a feather
in all our caps as this is a military School.but, Lt Col. Trevor Sharpe MBE
let us play and, didn't we do well?

I am back in the Channel Islands(JERSEY) about to open a shop selling(what
else?) brass instruments. Perhaps if enough people would be interested we
could have some sort of reunion or just chat about what has happened in our
lives so far.I still play(euph) how about you? Please get in touch with your
stories and how you are faring. I look forward to all of your replies.
Perhaps even write a book on our tales. I hope this doesn't frighten anyone
off as it could be a very good piece of history.
