Surely it is beholden on those who seek to criticise the contributions of
others in this way, to provide the interesting threads themselves. Whilst
your recent hagiographic tributes to Jackfield Band, YABB, Messrs Lewis,
Morgan and Batten have, of course, been mind-bogglingly interesting
(particularly to someone who admires both institutions and respects all three
individual as I do), surely it is up to the nouveau arrivistes to the list
like yourself to provide the thought provoking and controversial essayettes,
so that more battle scarred contributors can enter into lively debate.
