Martin,
Sorry you have lost me at the word 'beholden' remember wot shcool I
lernt at! I have been a member of the forum for about a year now but
there is very little I feel I can contribute toward. Unfortunatly being
in the backwoods (feel sorry for K.Pilsbury?) I don't see or meet a lot
of bandsmen in the real world,(you could include my girlfriend who
plays for Sellers but they are not a proper band are they?!?)and when I
do it is over at too many stouts and we always try to avoid banding.
I imagine there are many members such as myself who do enjoy reading
and keeping up on the movement but taking a more passive role.
So I am sorry for not offering anything of any depth and substance
to your forum but as you know down at Jackfield we remain a close band
through our general relaxed attitude and alternative priorities? I am
sure if we were in a better area (i.e. not Telford)we would have a
different focus!

P.P.S What does hagiographic mean as I haven't been taught that at
