What's the best place to put the solo cornets in a street march - to hear
the melody most effectively?  Is it better to put them in a single rank -
or in a group in the middle (e.g. two players in two adjoining rows/ranks).
 Or isn't it supposed to matter.

And is it only me - or do all solo cornets have some sort of psychic link
which makes them take a couple of bars breather during a long march at
exactly the same time?
