I'm very glad you raised this as for some time I too have been wondering why
nobody seems to care about those bastions of the brass band, the
percussionists.

I am surprised however, that one person did not immediately spring to mind
when talking about top tambourinists, namely our very own Norman who as I'm
sure you will recall, was able to shake his ribbons with the bst of them.

I don't know whether he did any particular training on his wrists (??), but
he could certainly do a mean jangle. Im not sure wearing the ribbons in his
hair did anything for the performance though, although he did look
"kind-a-cute" (and the uniform was nice too!!).

So come on the rest of you, who's the best??
