I remember quite a discussion about the merits of different soprano cornets
awhile back. Our Band has decided to buy a Schilke as part of an ongoing
improvement of our instrument stock. Funds are tight, even though we are
fervently fundraising for our trip to the Albert hall (Yorkshire/4th Section=
)
this year.
 We have had a quotation or two, but before we decide we wondered if anyone
has any suggestions as to where to go for a good deal. Trade-in probably not=

on =E2=80=94 our embryonic junior band may need the metal-fatigued weapon cu=
rrently
in use.

By the way, any original ideas for fund-raising will be most welcome =E2=80=
=94 our
latest is a Band pudding recipe Booklet - Little Suites for Brass maybe.
