Well my response to that is :

As an ex-IT Manager myself, who has given 12 years of dedicated service to
one company, only to be made redundant, why should I be criticised for
trying something which literally thousands of other people have been doing
successfully for ages ?

It's not exactly a criminal offence is it ? In fact it's not even something
which is morally wrong - it just annoys you, but I don't think that gives
you the right to publicly chastise me does it ?

I have publicly apologised for posting the subject to the list so hopefully
we can now get back to banding.
