Dear List,

Just a note to say that I am very pleased there are people out there who
have made a commitment to....Something! Most of us are committed to our
playing, some are committed to God, some to borstal, some to mental
institutions etc.

As a teacher, I find that it's often hard to get children committed to
anything. Commitment is hard work. Children don't like it.
