Hi Steve.  Happy Easter to you too....I hope the weather is better in
Derbyshire..than here in Wales where my neighbours are blaming me for
blowing.   Sorry for wasting your time (and others) but it does work when I
try...and even my young grandson in Bristol has heard it.....but weed
himself laughing.   So all our hopes of fame, fortune and becoming dot com.
millionnaires are dashed.   I thought I would have a go after hearing Andy
Callard (solo cornet) playing Cleopatra on his website, and St. Keverne's
band cd samples.    It looks as if most other folk have gone into bands'
Easter hibernation...but am hoping some of the expert technical guys might
tell what's wrong.   We are told this is the future....downloading
music...listening to live concerts (even contests ?) on the net.  For any
others still awake I have tried putting a short piece of music on my
website:  www.colwyn1.freeserve.co.uk  Go to What's New at bottom of  home
page then click on Listen to Music . (??)    Eventually you should hear La
Paloma automatically (if you are not hysterical by this time).   It works
for me...but maybe its playing back from my hard drive.   It should come
from Geocities in the states...but depends on net congestion or something.
What's the secret ?  Any suggestions much appreciated....apart from giving
up and selling my instrument !
