Re: Henry V

Hi Murry,
The 'Henry V Suite' was arranged for Black Dyke by Ted Watson, clarinettist
with the Royal Shakespeare Company since 1966.
It is published by Oxford University Press and is available ONLY as a
rental. Cost in the USA for one performance is $350.
I have been talking with Ted Watson and OUP for some months as we are
performing the work in January 2001 with Patrick Stewart narrating.
There is no way OUP will let the parts & score out for anything less than
$350, and then for one month only!!!!
No wonder it has never been performed by any other bands.
Ted has also arranged 'Richard III' & 'Facade' which Dyke have recently
recorded, same story, Rental Only!

Regards
Robin Weatherall
