Very good point, one I was just pondering myself! Unfortunatly I think I am probably the only one interested in football in my band which doesen't stand me in very good stead. As I am principle cornet I am told that I must lead by example, and I do agree with them most of the time! but I am considering handing in my notice for a day or so and then coming back. Only kidding but I am currently working on my psychic powers of persuasion in preparation for Friday nights rehearsal e.g. You do like football You will remember the key change at bar 57 I am the best cornet player around and you can't sack me for liking football. Better s the last one, don't think I will quite get away with it! A difficult one I agree, but not to be risked. You could try and convince the conducter that the lower/higher (delete appropriate) section of the band require a sectional! What ever happens England will do well!! (example of my psychic persuasion) Good luck James Pearson Jackfield Elcock Reisen Band --
