Our band is no longer going to the Whit Marches for various reasons,
partly beyond our control.

As a result, I've got a list of players (below) looking to join up with
a short band (in players, not stature) for Friday. All are from a 1st
section band in Sheffield as follows:

Solo Cornet
Rep Cornet
Flugel
Solo Horn
1st Horn
Solo Trombone
2nd Trombone
Eb Bass

If anyone has a home to offer us for the evening, can they please
contact me, either via the list or on david@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx or by phone
(mobile 0973 530987) as soon as possible. We have a job on Sunday
evening and I'd dearly like to be able to offer something positive to
this disappointed bunch of players.

If we can't find a band, we may just have to go for the beer :-(
