Hi y'all,

This is off any current topic but has any one out there heard or played the
Gottschalk Banjo Concerto. I know this sounds unlikely but I heard this
piece a long time ago as backing music for one of those "Time-Life" nature
specials on TV. It featured ( not unsurprisingly ) a solo banjo with
 surprisingly ) a brass quintet ( may have been a Canadian one ) - and it
was very, very nice. I have been searching for this for years now. I even
contacted "Time-Life" and the TV station concerned but they all declared
ignorance. I would be really pleased if anyone could steer me in the right
direction for the music or a CD/tape/record of a performance. Thanks.
