I think you'll find Grimethorpe to be the name most non-banders come up with
(thanks to Arthur Scargill and 'Brassed Off') closely followed by B&R
(thanks to Terry Wogan and the Floral Dance). Black Dyke are only 'famous'
as a result of contest wins, of which the general public are blissfully
ignorant.
