Hi all,

The Kiwis arrived in Woodfalls this afternoon and got straight down to work.
They played a very tight band in rehearsal despite having just got off a
red-eye!  Sounds like they mean business.

On the subject of their entry into the Open:  as a member of a band that
competed in the Grand Shield, yet failed to qualify for the Open, I
personally have no problem with them competing.  Surely we can be flexible
under circumstances where a band has travelled halfway around the world.

To enjoy their playing come to the Redlynch Club (next to the Woodfalls Inn)
this Wednesday at 7.30ish when you will be able to enjoy some fine playing
and plenty of banding chat.
