It is good to hear that Fodens did so well at the Nationals this
weekend, but what surprises me is that there has been no mention of
Bryan Hurdley who was appointed at roughly the same time as Tovey.
Am I being naive and the residents contribution goes without saying?
Maybe some of the members of Fodens would let me/other listees know of
the impact of having someone who is said to be the best band trainer in
the business as their resident. I am afraid I might have a biased
interest as we are both ex-pupils of the same school and a former
pupil.
