I'm sure Graham neant no putdown of horns as he does a lot of orchestra work
and brass quintette where the horn is an important part. Probably just his
clumsy attempt at humour along with the other danger of writing replies quickly
with sometimes inadequate thought and editing.

However those of us who play with Graham have at times descibed him as "a
(%$&**#) Cornet ?" so he is probably used to the description.
