Fair play to you Tony. Too many bands have gone out of existence with barely
a whimper and it is a great loss to the movement and society generally if
their rich histories, stories and anecdotes are lost for all time. Ignore the
cynics who think that it's a waste of time!!!!! If you can get the band going
again better still.

The Bedford Leigh Band was formed in 1875 and would have been 125 years old
this year.
The band has an interesting past and I would just like to pay tribute to it.
All the equipment is still around (Music library, instruments, uniforms
etc.) from when the band folded about 5 years ago.
I would like to gather enough interested people maybe to try starting it up
again ...!
