I haven't long had a new tuba. I used to play a Sovreign but before the band bought the new one I tried out a Sovreign, a Courtois and a Yamaha Maestro. We decided to buy the Yamaha. It plays much better than my old Sovreign, the valves in particular are superb. Mike Stevenson --
