Spreadsheets are all very well, but you would be better developing a
database in the long run - as Colin says, Microsoft Access or Lotus Approach
would do the job - even Microsoft Works (although it does not have the same
features as the other two). Also, I would advise anyone building a database
to really think about the fields before development, as this can save a lot
of time and effort in the long run. (A simple example of this can be if you
don't make separate fields for "first name" and "surname" of the composer,
and subsequently have problems sorting out Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart from
Leopold Mozart). Hope this makes sense!
