The carburettor linkages on my Triumph Stag also fit Holton ball end
joints.  The Carbs are Stomberg 175CD s and I bet those were fitted to
old Volvos too.  Not a lot of people know that...

You can get them from a Triumph spares specialist in Lincoln, called
Rimmers.  They have the added benefit of not having been tapped (ie
threaded) so you can fit them onto the linkage with little bother -
the thread on the carb linkage rod is quite coarse.  And they cost
less than a quid each I recall.
