In her e mail of 19 /1 / Laura Davies said that she thought the piece
boring.
I have been listening to the Williams Fairey recording and can see the
possibilities for one or two outstanding performances around the
regions.

I think  many bands and conductors have forgotten how to make music
live ,not expect the colour and  sound texture to only come from the
composer arranger and not from the heart of individual players and
conductors working in unison .

I look forward to hearing  this on the contest stage  in the areas.
