No big deal here - many composers in history have used pseudonymous names!
Here are a couple more that you may or may not know (1st name is the pseudonym)

Stephen Adams  = Michael Maybrick (composer of The Holy City)
Irving Berlin = Israel Baline
Aaron Copeland = Aaron Kaplan
Trevor Duncan = Leonard Trebilco (composed the tune for BBC TV series Dr
Finlay's Casebook)
