Just in case anyone out there is still interested in my ramblings about
Damare (composer of Pandora and Cleopatra), a flute playing colleague tells
me he used to play piccolo solos by him in the summer season orchestra on
Llandudno pier about 25 years ago! This would seem to strengthen the notion
that he was a Belgian army flute/piccolo player.
