My opinion is that anything which acts as a restriction / hindrance to any band being able to turn out a full band needs getting rid of.

At the end of the day banding is about enjoying the making of music and entertaining the public at large.
I accept that rules are needed but if this rule was removed what would be the net result ... ?
It would certainly ease the life of the band secretary.
I say s it !
