One of my favorites, along this line, was a trumpet player (concert band,
not brassband) whose mute fell out during a quiet passage.  He picked it up
and solemnly handed it 'back' to the player alongside him!  Hard to play
while giggling.

Also, a conductor loosing his baton during a vigorous passage is one of my
favorites.  EVERYONE is watching as it gets passed from row to row back up
while he's trying desperately to get the focus back on the music.
