Re: SPOT! HELP! FAST!

No good ideas on how to get rid of it, I'm afraid, but do you find that
your mouthpiece moves about while you play, irritating the skin? I've
found that when I'm doing more playing than normal, this leads to first
sore lips, then spots. Problem solved now, but it was quite worrying
when, halfway through my first National Youth course, my top lip became
too tender to rest the mouthpiece on it! If it's still there on the day,
it might be that you'll have to shift your mouthpiece around slightly -
bad technique, I know, but as a one-off, it might help.

Good luck,
Dave
