Laura,

In the olden days a cure all (or kill all) was a substance called Tincture
of Myrrh. It tastes awful, smells quite nice, and stings like hell, but it
is pretty damn good at getting rid of all sorts of things. Just rub it over
the affected area, you'll have to be very brave - I wasn't joking about the
sting - but it will work. You will get it from old-fashioned chemists rather
than a Boots or whatever.
