yep steve it is :-)

dont you know that the conductor of any band has to be very fit due to all
that poncing around.

all the time standing up doing all those cardio vascular exercises with his /
her arms etc, while you lucky players get to sit down  (i'll not mention the
poor percussionist who have to both stand up and run around etc)
