2nd Ashton-Under-Lyne ( Paganini Variations) 190 pts
3rd United Norwest Co-Op Milnrow (Spectrum) 188 pts

Second Section

1st Moston & Beswick ( Trittico) 185 pts
2nd Skelmersdale (Spectrum) 183 pts
3rd Wilfreda Beehive Hatfield (Variations on a 9th) 182 pts

Third Section

1st Rainford Silver 178 pts
2nd Blackley 176 pts
3rd Parr Band ( Richardson Ltd) St Helens 174 pts

Fourth Section

1st Timperley 180 pts
2nd Trinity Girls 175 pts
3rd Middleton 172 pts
