The trouble is acctually with my right hand! I should have made that clear really! The soverign has little stretches of tubing on the side that your hand goes (i call it the back) which can be removed but aren't used for tuning. I think they are so you can clean it more easily. Hope that makes it clearer, and it does have 4 valves. Ln --
